How it all began...
We are the original backpackers spot in Ulcinj, Montenegro
Our hostel is in the beach town Ulcinj, Montenegro. You can find the longest beach on the Adriatic nearby. Our accommodation is the talk of the town and is ideal for guests who want to relax while having a wonderful social atmosphere. There are literally dozens of cool bars, restaurants and coffee shops all around us.

Explore Our Services
Laundry
Just like mama does it. Make yourself at home, leave the laundry to us! Stay fresh while you travel, we do all our laundry in house. Sun drying in the balcony, we'll have it ready for you the next day!
Bike Rental
Spend your day cycling Ulcinj! We offer all our guests a bicycle to explore Ulcinj. There are loads of places to explore while you visit. Olive Trees on the road to Valdanos and visiting 1000 years old Maple tree, 12 km Long Beach, Pine Forest, Old Town, Salt Lake - Park of nature just 6km from the hostel, Flamingos and birds.

Yes you heard right! Every night join us to some of our activities! Ulcinj is a very relaxed town and we pride ourselves on the social atmosphere at Hostel Pirate! We are not a party hostel but we know how to have fun! Join us for some laughs, new friends, & good fun! Know a fun game or have a hidden talent? Don't be a stranger, we're all friends here!
The reason to visit Ulcinj is to stay at Hostel Pirate! As soon as you arrive you are part of the family, the beds are very comfortable and they have a great chill out area for the guests to socialize! People always extend a few days because it’s so comfortable. Dijana is the best host and makes sure you have everything you need and makes great suggestions around town!

June 2018This hostel is quite spacious. It has many communal areas for socialising and meeting fellow backpackers. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. Pirates volunteer staff are happy to take you out, show you the best beaches, where you can cliff jump where to watch the sunset and the hostel even puts on a boat trip. I absolutely loved staying here and would love to go back. Dijana, the owner has created a wonderful community.
It isn't just a hostel, it's a community
August 2017The owner and the guys working there are the best. They go way, way beyond what you would expect from any other place. The tours they offer are so much fun and pretty good value, this place is highly recommended. Also, in the evening it was super easy to socialize whilst having a beer and playing cards. Just an amazing place, cheers for everything.
